Adding or excluding sales taxes can be automated by visiting our sales tax screen here: https://www.thecustomerfactor.com/new/salestax.php.
Setting this up will automatically include/exclude sales tax on any estimate or invoice that you created. So If you charge the "same percentage of tax" for all customers/services, simply select the 2nd option and enter the percentage of tax then click "Update".
The third option allows you to charge sales tax based on the "County" of the location where the work is performed. You can also add/edit/delete them.
The 4th option is charging sales tax based on the "City" of the location where the work is performed.
Another option will allow you to charge different taxes for either Residential or Commercial customers.
The last one on the other hand will give you the option to assign "Different" sales tax rates for every service/job/item that your business provides.
