How to Archive and Unarchive Prospects

Here at The Customer Factor, you can archive and unarchive prospects anytime.

You can do this by initially visiting the prospect profile screen. You'll see an "Archive" button towards the top of the screen.

If you click that button, a window will open up asking you the reason for the archive.

After saving that, the prospect will be removed from your active database, but they'll still be in your database where you can retrieve them and send 'em future emails, letters, etc. and/or reactivate them if needed.
Please note that when you archive a prospect or customer, nothing is lost. So all estimate/job info is retained.
To search for archived prospects, you have to do a specific search on the prospect search screen. Pls go to the prospect search screen (click "Search" under "Prospects" tab) and look at the last search on the left under the "By" heading. You'll see "archived prospects".

So if you do that search you'll then end up on the search results screen where you can then email, call, print letters, etc. And if you need to unarchive any prospect then you can select whoever you want to unarchive by clicking the "select" checkbox at the right of the prospect.

At the top of the screen, you'll see an "Unarchive" button. When that's clicked the prospect is back to being active again. This is also how it operates if you ever want to archive customers.
