Editing Frequency Period

Frequency periods play a crucial role in keeping track of when a customer is due for service.


To provide a brief overview: a frequency period is utilized when scheduling a job to allow the software to inform you that the customer is scheduled to be serviced again in 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, etc. (depending on the chosen frequency period).


When initially scheduling a job, you might not be aware of a customer's frequency period, so you leave it set to "not assigned". Alternatively, the customer may prefer a different follow-up timeframe. This article provides guidance on easily editing a frequency period. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to easily edit frequency periods:


Job History:

  • Start by navigating to the job history subtab of the customer and locate the job for which you want to edit the frequency period.
  • Click on the pencil icon or image associated with the job to open the "Edit Job" window.

Editing Frequency & Saving Changes:

  • Inside the "Edit Job" window, find the dropdown column related to the frequency period.
  • Modify the frequency period according to your requirements.
  • Click the "Update" button to save your changes.

Edit from Callback Window:

  • Alternatively, you can edit the frequency period from the callback window.
  • Open the callback window associated with the job under the "Follow up/Call" subtab, and you'll find an option to edit the frequency period.

This feature is beneficial when making callbacks to customers within a callback window and you need to adjust their frequency period.

Edit from Daily Calendar (List View):

Finally, one of the most straightforward methods to modify frequency periods is through the Daily Calendar screen.

  • Access the Daily Calendar in "List" view.
  • Click on the pencil icon for a specific customer to open the "Edit Job" window.
  • Change the frequency period and then click "Update".
