Editing or Manually Adding Clock In and Out

Managing your employee's clock in/out from the app has been made even easier with our new advanced features! If your employees are unable to clock in and out using the app, no worries; you can now manually add their hours to the daily calendar.

Let's explore this process step by step:

Accessing the Daily Calendar

  • Start by opening The Customer Factor app and navigating to the "Daily Calendar" section. To make the process more efficient, switch your calendar view to "List." This will give you a comprehensive list view of all the scheduled tasks and appointments for the day.

Adding Manual Clock In/Out Hours

  • Scroll down until you find the clock icon located in the "Clock In/Out" area.

The "Clock Time" Window

  • Upon clicking the clock icon, the "Clock Time" window will pop up. This advanced window allows you to input precise details for the clock in/out times. You'll be prompted to select the specific employee name, the date for which the hours need to be added, and the clock in/out times in hours and minutes.

Making Selections

  • To make selections, use the dropdown arrows for the employee name, date, clock in time, and clock out time. This level of granularity ensures accurate tracking of work hours. If you need to adjust the minutes, no problem—just scroll and select the desired value.

Saving the Changes

  • Once you've filled in all the necessary details for the manual clock in/out hours, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the "Clock Time" window. The system will now record the added hours for the designated employee and date.

Making Changes to Existing Entries

  • In case you need to make any changes to an existing clock in/out manually added hours, simply locate the entry on the same screen that corresponds to the employee and date you want to modify. Click the pencil icon next to the total number of hours for that entry.

Adjusting Date and Time

  • After clicking the pencil icon, the "Clock Time" window will reappear, allowing you to adjust the date and time for the clock in/out entries. You can make changes to the employee, date, clock in time, and clock out time as needed.

Applying Changes

  • Once you've made the necessary adjustments, click the "Save" button to apply the changes. The system will automatically update the clock in/out hours with your modifications.
