Setting up Primary Business Profile in Twilio for the A2P Messaging


Below is a quick guide on how you can set up Trust Hub (Business Profile) and how to register/create a business profile for the campaign for A2P messaging in Twilio.


  1. First, log in to your Twilio account, and from the main dashboard type "Trust" in the search field and select "Trust Hub". On the Trust hub screen, click "Create Primary Business Profile" to continue.

  1. Insert the legal Business Name by clicking the "+Add physical business address" and choose the "Select from saved address" as your option then select the address before clicking "Save" and "Next".

Step 3: Business information

In this section you can insert the following info:

  • Business Identity: "Direct Customer"
  • Business Type: Limited Liability Corporation
  • Business Industry: Hospitality
  • Business Registration Number: 00-0000000 (Can be found on your tax return docs or you can also search it manually by visiting this EIN lookup service link)
  • Business Region of Operations: USA and Canada
  • Website URL: Should start with https://
  • (Social Media field can be left blank)

Step 4: People to Contact (authorized representative) section

  • Again, fill up all necessary fields such as "Last/First Name, Email, Business Title, Job Position, and a valid Phone number". Once done, remember to check the two checkboxes before clicking the "Next" button.

Step 5: Complete the registration by clicking the "Submit for review" button at the bottom part of your screen.


An email notification will be sent to the user's inbox informing them that their request is being processed. Note that the registration request is still subject for validation so It may take couple of days/weeks for the request to be approved.
